Days after India faced an unprecedented diplomatic backlash over comments made by BJP spokespersons, the Delhi police filed an FIR today against 32 people for hate speeches. This includes the now suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma, MP Asaduddin Owaisi, and journalist Saba Naqvi. Police say they attempted to disturb the peace with their social media posts though its not clear which posts have attracted the FIR.
