Azra Ghani, professor of Infectious Disease Epidemiology at Imperial College London, says the UK needs to get case numbers down and continue to rollout the vaccine and it's "very difficult to say exactly when that will be".

Prof Ghani says the UK's decision to space out first and second doses is based on demonstrable "data" and plays down fears that mutations could hinder the efficacy of vaccines, although she does say that they may need to be altered in the future.
