Princess of Wales admitted to hospital for planned surgery

The Princess of Wales has undergone abdominal surgery in London and will remain in hospital for up to two weeks, Kensington Palace announced.

In a statement, the palace said: "Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales was admitted to The London Clinic yesterday for planned abdominal surgery.
