Londoners had little sympathy on Thursday for Prince Harry’s account of a physical fight between him and his older brother, Prince William, as told in his memoir "Spare", which was being sold in Spanish bookstores days before its official launch and excerpts leaked to the U.K. press.

"I think it's shocking. Because no matter what happens among a family, do you really want to broadcast it to the world as they do?” one Londoner said.

Harry states in his soon-to-be-published memoir, that William knocked him to the floor during a 2019 argument over Harry's wife Meghan.

According to the Guardian's account, the altercation arose after William called Meghan "difficult", "rude" and "abrasive," which Harry said sounded like "the press narrative" about his wife.
