Prime Time With Ravish Kumar - December 7, 2021: On Prime Time, a special report on the healthcare facilities available in Ghaziabad district on Uttar Pradesh. NDTV's Ravish Ranjan Shukla visited the government hospitals in the district and found that there was acute shortage of specialists. A long queue of patients were observed queued up at the District Combined Hospital. According to Dr Sanjay Teotia, the hospital has only 19 doctors as against the sanctioned 38 posts. "Each doctor here has to do the work of two doctors", he said. One of the visitors said that he was asked to leave because there was "no doctor". The condition in MMG Hospital was no different. The chief medical superintendent, Dr Anurag Bhargava said that the hospital has only 23 vacancies filled out of 32 sanctioned posts. (Audio in Hindi)
