Prime Time With Ravish Kumar - June 28, 2021 The government had claimed India will be able to vaccinate the entire adult population by the end of December, vaccinating about a crore of people every day. But new government filings in the Supreme Court have raised serious doubts over this claim. The government told the Supreme Court that 135 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccines will be available by December - vastly less than the Union Health Ministry's projection last month. In a presentation last month, the Union Health Ministry had projected that over 216 crore doses would be available by the year-end. (Audio in Hindi)
