Prime Time - October 12, 2021: As India faces widespread power outages with plants running out of coal, the government today assured enough supply to meet the nation's power needs. Delhi's Power Minister Satyendra Jain claimed that the state government has to depend on costly gas-based power and spot purchase at high market rate as the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has halved electricity supply to the city.
