Several Indian ambassadors in the Gulf region were summoned in a single day by the foreign ministries in their host countries while others issued strong statements condemning the remarks. As Qatar and Kuwait summoned the envoys in Doha and Kuwait City respectively, the Taliban regime in Afghanistan condemned the comments by BJP's Nupur Sharma and Naveen Kumar Jindal.
