Draupadi Murmu India's 15th President LIVE: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday met and congratulated Draupadi Murmu on her election as the 15th President of the country and said ''she has emerged as a ray of hope for citizens, especially the poor, marginalised and the downtrodden.''

राष्ट्रपति पद के लिए 18 जुलाई को हुए मतदान के बाद हुई मतगणना में एनडीए उम्मीदवार द्रौपदी मुर्मू को बड़े अंतर से जीत मिली है. जीत के बाद उन्हें बधाई देने के लिए पीएम मोदी द्रौपदी मुर्मू के घर पहुंचे हैं. द्रौपदी मुर्मू को बधाई देने वालों में गृहमंत्री अमित शाह और जेपी नड्डा भी शामिल थे. राष्ट्रपति का चुनाव हारने वाले उम्मीदवार यशवंत सिन्हा ने भी द्रौपदी मुर्मू को बधाई दी है.
