The President’s Advisory Council on Doing Business in Africa (PAC-DBIA) was established in 2014 in order to promote broad-based economic growth and job creation in the United States and Africa by encouraging U.S. companies to trade with and invest in Africa. The PAC-DBIA advises the President on strengthening commercial engagement between the United States and Africa. In this meeting with senior leadership from U.S. government Departments, Agencies, and initiatives, the Council will deliberate and adopt recommendations addressing the following: (1) Financing and Infrastructure; (2) Energy and Environment; (3) Digital Economy and Information and Communications Technology (ICT); (4) Agribusiness and Food-Water Security; (5) Healthcare.
