New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs says the 2024 federal budget is ‘a never-ending spending platform' that continues to plunge Canada into debt: ‘I’m very concerned about the long-term view of our country.’ His comments come as premiers write to the prime minister calling on him to stay out of areas of provincial jurisdiction.
