It takes a special kind of idiot to publicly fake the symptoms of a recently-discovered virus that has the entire world shaking and then call it a ‘prank’.
Karomat Dzhaborov, а somewhat famous blogger from Tajikistan, has been sentenced to 28 months behind bars by a Russian court, after a tasteless prank, in which he pretended to be infected with the coronavirus, caused Moscow’s Metro to sound the alarm.
In the video, published on his ‘Kara Prank’ Instagram channel, Dzhaborov can be seen stumbling into a packed Metro carriage and falling to the ground. When others attempt to help him, he begins writhing and clutching his throat as if having a seizure. Someone in the clip then shouts ‘coronavirus!’ sending passengers scrambling away from him.
He was found guilty of ‘hooliganism’ by a judge in the Russian capital on Monday over the stunt, which was filmed by his friends in February last year. Stanislav Melikhov and Artur Isachenko, who were with him at the time, were both given two-year suspended sentences.
