Powerful and erratic typhoon moves through East China Sea

A powerful typhoon with winds of up to 198 km/h skirts past Taiwan as it moves across the East China Sea. The typhoon has caused significant damage to Japan's southern islands and is the second strong, slow-moving typhoon to hammer East Asia this week.
