Journalist and broadcaster Sarfraz Manzoor reacts to the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's speech outside Downing Street on Friday on Sunday Morning with Trevor Phillips.

Mr Manzoor says the speech was, in his view, "something born from calculation and cynicism, rather than conviction".

He adds that too many politicians on both sides seem "more comfortable in banalities and fudges", rather than "speaking with conviction".
