Photographer Dmitry Kokh stumbled upon the photo-op of a lifetime when bad weather forced him to make a detour to the small Russian island of Kolyuchin. Originally planning to photograph polar bears on an Arctic nature reserve, Kokh instead found a group of bears settling into their new house – an abandoned 1930s weather station.
