The General Secretary of the RWT union says the boss of P&O Ferries should resign and face prosecution after he admitted breaking employment law over redundancies.

Mick Lynch said he 'couldn't believe' the evidence given by Peter Hebblethwaite in front of the Parliamentary committee.

He said the workers who were made redundant needed to be reinstated to put the 'injustice right'.

The Transport Secretary, Grant Shapps, has pledged to close the loopholes which allowed P&O Ferries to sack 800 staff without warning.
