Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif met the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristalina Georgieva.


Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who is in Paris on his visit to France, met the MD of the IMF. In the meeting, ongoing programs and cooperation between Pakistan and the IMF were discussed.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister also mentioned the May 27 meeting, he informed the MDIMF about the government's measures for economic development and stability.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan is determined to fulfill the obligations agreed with the IMF. It is hoped that the allocated funds of the IMF will be released as soon as possible. Economic stability and people will get relief.

In the meeting, Kristalina Georgieva informed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif about the IMF's approach.
