The country's first music policy was approved in the farewell meeting of the federal cabinet headed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The farewell session was held at PM House in which Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, Maryam Aurangzeb, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Mian Javed Latif, Azam Nazir Tarar and Naveed Qamar participated.

Maulana Asad Mehmood, Syed Aminul Haq, Agha Hasan Baloch, Tahir Bashir Cheema, Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Aoon Chaudhary, Sherry Rehman, Qamar Zaman Kaira and Maulana Abdul Wase also participated in the farewell meeting of the cabinet.
