PM 'pleased' to appoint David Cameron as Foreign Secretary

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has told the Lord Mayor's Banquet that he is "pleased" to appoint David Cameron as Foreign Secretary.

Mr Sunak also nodded to "divisions at home" as he gave a speech on foreign policy.

Appearing to refer to incidents over the weekend in London, the prime minister said when "conflicts oversees create division at home, it's more important than ever we preserve the values we hold dear".
