अरुणाचल प्रदेश के तवांग में एलएसी के साथ लगे इलाके में 9 दिसंबर 2022 की रात चीनी सैनिक एलएसी (LAC) के करीब पहुंच गए, जिसके बाद भारतीय सैनिक भी आगे बढ़े. इस दौरान दोनों देशों के सैनिकों में भिड़ंत हो गई. भारतीय सैनिकों ने चीनी सैनिकों का डटकर मुकाबला किया और मुंहतोड़ जवाब दिया. भारतीय जवानों ने चीन के 300 सैनिकों को खदेड़ दिया. बताया जा रहा है कि 9 से 10 चीनी सैनिक घायल हुए हैं, जबकि 6 भारतीय जवान भी जख्मी हुए हैं.
भारत और चीन के सैनिकों के बीच अरुणाचल प्रदेश के तवांग में झड़प के बाद भारतीय सेना (Indian Army) ने बयान जारी किया है और बताया है कि अब LAC पर कैसे हालात हैं. सेना ने बताया कि चीनी जवान 9 दिसंबर को पहुंचे थे. इसके बाद दोनों ओर से फ्लैग मीटिंग हुई, जिसके बाद LAC से चीन के सैनिक पीछे हट गए हैं.
अरुणाचल प्रदेश के तवांग में भारत और चीन के सैनिकों के बीच हुई झड़प को लेकर राजनीति तेज हो गई है और एआईएमआईएम अध्यक्ष असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने सरकार पर सवाल उठाए हैं. ओवैसी ने कही कि देश को अंधेरे में रखा गया है. सरकार संसद को बताए. इसके साथ ही कांग्रेस ने भी सवाल उठाए हैं और कहा है कि सरकार सख्त लहजे में चीन को जवाब दे.

Owaisi said that the country has been kept in the dark. The government should tell the parliament. Along with this, the Congress has also raised questions and said that the government should answer China in a strict tone.
