PM Modi Addresses Event In Nepal's Lumbini On Buddha Purnima

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a day-long visit to Nepal, addressed an event in Lumbini on the occasion of Buddha Purnima today. "India and Nepal's ever-strengthening friendship, in the kind of global conditions that are being created today, our closeness will serve the benefit of the entire humanity," he said. PM Modi will also hold bilateral talks with his Nepalese counterpart Sher Bahadur Deuba today. As Prime Minister, this is his fifth visit to Nepal and the first to Lumbini.
