PM: 'Hundreds of thousands' of COVID-19 vaccines to be delivered daily

The Prime Minister says people want to know the government at every level are "throwing everything" at getting the vaccine rolled out.

In a new target, he promised that hundreds of thousands of vaccines will be delivered daily by the end of next week.

Boris Johnson says that so far 1.5 million people across the UK have received their first dose already and insists the UK has "enough" vaccines to protect 14 million of the most vulnerable people by his current deadline of 15 February.
