Plan To Plug Oxygen Gap From PM-CARES As Covid Leaves States Gasping

A hundred new hospitals will get their own oxygen plants with funds from the PM-CARES fund, the government said on Thursday, amid a surge in coronavirus cases that has battered healthcare services across the country and left several states scrambling for treatment essentials. Supplies of oxygen ran short in places several states but the government has said India is producing oxygen at full capacity for each of the last two days and it had boosted output.
