Responding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "Judas" remark, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan called the comment "very irresponsible". At an election rally in Kerala, PM Modi had said: "About LDF it can be said, Judas betrayed Lord Christ for a few pieces of silver and the Left Democratic Front betrayed Kerala for a few pieces of gold".
