Philippines declares state of calamity aftermath of Typhoon Rai

The UN has launched a campaign to raise more than $100m in aid for the victims of Typhoon Rai which caused widespread devastation in the Philippines last week.
More than three million people have been directly hit and are without drinking water and remain cut off from any relief assistance.
President Rodrigo Duterte has called it a state of calamity.
