The Centre had banned PFI yesterday after multiple raids and arrests of over 240 members.Veteran Congress leader Digvijaya Singh will enter the race for the top post in the party, sources have told NDTV. The former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, who is in Kerala, will reach Delhi tonight and file the nomination on Thursday or Friday, sources said.The Indian rupee closed at its weakest ever today this on back of a fresh two-decade high for the US dollar and global recession fears on the rise. Government Sources tell NDTV the rupee is still doing better than other emerging market currencies.
