केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय ने पॉपुलर फ्रंट ऑफ इंडिया यानी PFI और उससे जुड़े 8 संगठनों पर 5 साल के लिए बैन लगा दिया है. केरल से कांग्रेस सांसद और लोकसभा में मुख्य सचेतक कोडिकुन्निल सुरेश (Kodikunnil Suresh) आरएसएस (RSS) पर प्रतिबंध लगाने की मांग की है और कहा है कि पीएफआई पर बैन लगाना कोई उपाय नहीं है. बता दें कि टेरर कनेक्शन को लेकर हाल ही में पीएफआई के ठिकानों पर एनआईए और ईडी ने छापेमारी की थी.
