Petrol and diesel prices rose by 80 pence per litre Wednesday, bringing the total increase in rates for the last nine days to 5.60 pence per litre. Petrol will now cost 101.01 per litre in Delhi, up from 100.21 before, while diesel will cost 92.27 per litre, up from 91.47 previously, according to a price notification issued by state petroleum merchants. Petrol and diesel prices in Mumbai increased by 84 and 85 paise per litre, respectively, to 115.88 and 100.10.
