The protests in Peru are growing bolder and more violent. The demonstrations have shown no sign of abating, nearly two months after they began following the removal and arrest of former president Pedro Castillo.

Embattled President Dina Boluarte recently promised elections would be held by the end of the year, but it has critics questioning if that will be enough.

As Mike Drolet reports, street battles have left dozens dead and many are wondering if there is any end in sight.
