Pentagon confirms in a press conference that a US warship shot down three missiles and drones in the Northern Red Sea.

Brigadier General Pat Ryder, the Pentagon's press secretary also described incidents that have taken place in Iraq and Syria but gave no further details on the Ain al-Asad attacks reported in the last hour or so.
