Pension funds "aren't at risk," Business Secretary Jacob Rees-Mogg has told Sky News.

The turmoil in the market has been centred on pension funds holding government debt which pays out over long periods like 30 years.

The Bank intervened, saying that some pension funds were preparing to "wind up" after the mini-budget.
