Still searching for that perfect Valentine’s Day gift – and have money to burn? Part of Croatia’s famous “Love Island” in the Adriatic Sea has gone up for sale.

Slightly more than 40,000 square metres of the 142,000-square-metre-island is being sold, with a price tag of 13 million euros.

Galešnjak, in the Pašman Channel, is one of Croatia’s most famous islands and a favourite destination of celebrities. Beyoncé, Michael Jordan and Jeff Bezos are a few of the celebrities who have vacationed on the island.

“Honestly, they (offers) come every day, some a little less serious, some more serious,” said Silvestro Kardum, the representative for the island’s current owner. Proceeds from the sale will be invested into the local community, he added.
