Panama's government has launched a new campaign to try and stem the flow of migrants through one of the most dangerous places in the world - The Darien gap.
Record numbers of people are trying to cross the difficult jungle terrain where drug traffickers operate.
Panama says it is struggling to process the influx of people and the pollution they are leaving behind.

Al Jazeera’s Alessandro Rampietti reports from Darien Province, Panama.
