A Palestinian father of four has been on a hunger strike since March.
He has been protesting against his detention by Israel without charge.
As Khalil Awawdeh’s condition deteriorated, he was transferred to a hospital near Tel Aviv.

Al Jazeera's Natasha Ghoneim spoke to him.
