Israel has arrested more than 2,600 Palestinians from Gaza including doctors and journalists since it began its war.

The fate of those detained and their whereabouts remain largely unknown.

Al Jazeera spoke to some Palestinians who were released and they gave accounts of torture and abuse they endured.
