ICC Men’s T20 World Cup-bound Pakistan squad will hold a seven-day training and conditioning camp under bio-secure protocols at the National High Performance Centre and LCCA ground, Lahore, from Sunday, 10 October.

Today (Friday), the squad members, along with their family members, will join the bio-secure and undergo Covid-19 testing upon arrival. After returning negative tests, the players will be allowed to commence their preparations from Sunday with the gym sessions at NHPC.

The players will hold training sessions at the LCCA ground at 1:30 pm on 11-12 October and play a scenario match under the lights on 14 October. It will start at 6pm. No training activity has been scheduled for 13 October.

The squad will depart for Dubai on 15 October.

پاکستان کرکٹ ٹیم کے بلے باز صہیب مقصود کمرکی تکلیف کے باعث ٹی ٹوئنٹی ورلڈ کپ سے باہر ہوگئے۔

پی سی بی ذرائع کے مطابق، میڈیکل پینل نے صہیب مقصود کو آرام کا مشورہ دیا ہے، صہیب مقصود کے متبادل کا فیصلہ جلد کردیا جائے گا۔

ذرائع کا کہنا ہے کہ صہیب مقصود کی جگہ شعیب ملک کی شمولیت کا امکان ہے۔

صہیب مقصودنیشنل ٹی ٹوئنٹی کےدوران کمر کی تکلیف کا شکار ہوئے تھے۔

اس سے قبل پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ (پی سی بی) کی جانب سے جاری اعلامیے کے مطابق ٹی ٹوئنٹی ورلڈکپ کیلئے قومی اسکواڈ میں تین تبدیلیاں کی گئی تھیں۔
اعظم خان اور محمد حسنین کی جگہ وکٹ کیپر بیٹسمین سرفراز احمد اور حیدر علی کو 15 رکنی اسکواڈ کا حصہ بنایا گیا۔

ان کے علاوہ ٹریول ریزرو میں موجود فخر زمان کو خوشدل شاہ سے تبدیل کرکے 15 رکنی اسکواڈ میں شامل کیا گیا ہے۔

Sohaib Maqsood has been ruled out of the T20 World Cup due to a back injury, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sources said Saturday.

According to sources, doctors examined Sohaib’s injury and advised him to rest. His replacement will be announced soon.

It merits mention that Sohaib Maqsood suffered a back injury during the National T20 Cup.
