Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif will return to Pakistan today i.e. Saturday (21 October 2023) after four years of exile. He was living in London for the last four years and was undergoing treatment for his illness there. His return to Pakistan before the upcoming assembly elections and that too at a time when his political rival and former PM Imran is in jail in the Tosha Khana case. It will be interesting to see what impact this will have on Pakistan's politics. Nawaz Sharif's return to Pakistan is taking place at a time when the Election Commission has announced general elections in the country. Elections will be held in Pakistan by the last week of January 2024. At present, the administrative work of Pakistan is being commanded by the Caretaker Prime Minister. Nawaz Sharif has been the Prime Minister of Pakistan three times and was living in self-proclaimed exile in London for four years. In Pakistan, his party was being headed by his daughter Maryam Nawaz and brother Shahbaz Sharif.
पाकिस्तान के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री नवाज शरीफ आज यानी शनिवार (21 अक्टूबर 2023) को चार सालों के निर्वासन के बाद वापस पाकिस्तान लौट आएंगे. बीते चार सालों से वह लंदन में रह रहे थे और वहीं अपनी बीमारी का इलाज करा रहे थे. आगामी विधानसभा चुनावों से पहले उनका पाकिस्तान लौटना और वह भी ऐसे समय में जब उनके राजनीतिक प्रतिद्वंदी और पूर्व पीएम इमरान तोशा खाना मामले में जेल में हैं. इसका पाकिस्तान की राजनीति पर क्या असर पड़ेगा यह देखना दिलचस्प होगा. नवाज शरीफ का पाकिस्तान लौटना ऐसे समय में हो रहा है जब चुनाव आयोग ने देश में आम चुनावों की घोषणा कर दी है. पाकिस्तान में जनवरी 2024 के आखिरी हफ्ते तक चुनाव करा दिए जाएंगे. फिलहाल पाकिस्तान के प्रशासनिक काम-काज की कमान केयर-टेकर प्रधानमंत्री संभाल रहे हैं. नवाज शरीफ पाकिस्तान के तीन बार के प्रधानमंत्री रह चुके हैं और वह चार साल से लंदन में स्वघोषित निर्वासन में रह रहे थे. पाकिस्तान में उनकी पार्टी की कमान उनकी बेटी मरियम नवाज और भाई शाहबाज़ शरीफ संभाल रहे थे
