चुनाव नतीजों के ऐलान के छह दिन बाद भी पाकिस्तान में नई सरकार के गठन पर सस्पेंस बरकरार रहा। नवाज़ शरीफ़ की पार्टी PMLN और जेल में बंद इमरान खान की पार्टी PTI सत्ता पर काबिज़ होने के लिए एड़ी चोटी का ज़ोर लगाती नज़र आई। नवाज़ शरीफ़ की पार्टी PMLN सरकार बनाने के लिए बिलावल भुट्टो की पार्टी PPP की मान मनौव्वल करती दिखी। तो वहीं PPP समर्थन के बदले सौदेबाज़ी करती नज़र आई।
