Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is saying to India, let's sit down and have a long talk about our many differences.
On a trip this week to the United Arab Emirates he brought up the issue of Kashmir. And he's asking the UAE, to act as host and mediator. This would be a major development, but there is a caveat: Sharif says talks can only start once India has restored the semi-autonomous status in the part of Kashmir India controls.
