Life in the far-flung region of Gilgit-Baltistan in northern Pakistan is taking on a festive look with annual sports and cultural events marking the end of winter.
The snow-covered valleys of northern Pakistan brought together thousands of tourists, skiers and other winter sports lovers to celebrate the winter games and enjoy the snowfall.
