Ottawa finalizes $10.4B deal for Boeing surveillance planes

The federal government has finalized a deal with the U.S. to buy up to 16 military surveillance planes at an estimated cost of $10.4 billion. Defence Minister Bill Blair says there were no other aircraft options based on the needs of Canada's Armed Forces.
