UK victims of online romance scams have been conned out of more than £63m over the past year.

Action Fraud says 800 more cases were reported in 2020 than the previous year as more people turned to the internet to meet people during the pandemic.

One victim lost £30,000 to a stranger from Tinder and now faces the possibility of losing her home.
