On Parents' Demand, Maharashtra Considers Reopening Schools For All Classes

Maharashtra is likely to take a decision soon on reopening of schools for all grades after physical classes resumed for students of Classes 8 and above. A group of parents have written to the chief minister, demanding reopening of schools for all grades as children are being affected by the prolonged closure. Maharashtra minister Aditya Thackeray says the government hopes to reopen schools safely soon after discussing the issue with stake holders.
