Omicron Variant: Maharashtra Has 198 Fresh Omicron Cases, 3,671 Covid Infections In Mumbai

Maharashtra has seen 198 fresh Omicron cases amid fears over a third Covid wave as it logged 5,368 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, 37 per cent higher than yesterday. The new variant has been labeled as "highly infectious" by experts.
