Zimbabweans living and working in South Africa have been forced to cancel their plans to head home for Christmas after new quarantine restrictions were introduced in Zimbabwe to curb the spread of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus.
Many cannot afford to pay for mandatory hotel quarantine. And as a result, South African bus companies are struggling for business.
