During a speech in Georgia on Thursday, Former U.S. president Barack Obama made fun of Georgia Republican senate candidate Herschel Walker over comments he made two weeks ago about a film featuring vampires.
"But I'll tell you something I found out. A werewolf can kill a vampire," Walker told the audience. "So I don't want to be a vampire. I want to be a werewolf."
Obama joked about the statement, saying that every day since he was last in the state, Walker had been "talking about issues that are of great importance to the people of Georgia, like whether it's better to be a vampire or werewolf."
"This is a debate that I must confess I once had myself. When I was seven," Obama said.
Walker is heading into a Dec. 6 runoff against Warnock.
