Sky News has learnt that Number 10 did not fully sign off on the home secretary's article in The Times before it was published.

It's understood Downing Street was sent it and suggested changes, but these were not then carried out.

In the article Suella Braverman accuses the Metropolitan Police of "playing favourites" after they decided to allow a pro-Palestine march to go ahead on Armistice Day.
