The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) held a press briefing in Dallas, Texas on Monday to provide an update on the investigation regarding a plane crash from Saturday. Six people were killed when two military planes from World War II collided mid-air during a Veterans Day air show at Dallas Executive Airport.

NTSB representative Michael Graham said that the air show's common frequency recording has been received by the NTSB and will be processed by an investigative specialist. In the update, Graham said that the wreckage of the P-63 has been recovered as of this morning and that it had been transported to a secure location for examination and analysis.

According to the update, an electronic flight display from the B-17 and a GPS navigational unit from the P-63 were recovered in the morning, which were both damaged during the accident.

Graham added that rain has delayed further recovery of the B-17, but that the recovery process will continue tomorrow, weather permitting. Graham concluded by thanking the public for cooperation, noting that content from continued interviews will not be released and that this will be the last on-scene press briefing.
