Northrop Grumman’s Cygnus cargo spacecraft has departed from the International Space Station. The uncrewed spacecraft had delivered, three months earlier, more than 3,600 kilos of supplies to the station, including material for scientific investigations, commercial products, and hardware. Cygnus is to deorbit on December 15, filled with waste the space station crew packed into it, and will burn up in Earth’s atmosphere.
