Nobel Peace Prize winner Ales Bialiatski has devoted his life to promoting democracy in Belarus and was jailed twice for his work with the Viasna Human Rights Center.
Many of his colleagues from Viasna, now living in exile in Lithuania, are paying tribute to the man who founded the centre.

Al Jazeera's Step Vaessen reports from Vilnius, Lithuania.
